My client, a well-established and reputable automotive service and repair centre, is seeking an experienced Qualified Mechanic to join their busy workshop based South Co. Dublin.

Position Overview:

As the Qualified Mechanic, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs on a wide range of vehicles in a busy and well-equipped workshop. You’ll work closely with the workshop team to ensure all repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

This is a full-time, permanent position, offering a competitive salary from €50,000 per year depending on experience, along with a performance-related bonus awarded twice yearly.

You’ll work Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and very occasional Saturday depending on workload, within a supportive, professional environment where quality workmanship and teamwork are valued.

This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on, reliable mechanic who takes pride in their craft and is looking for a long-term role with excellent earning potential and stability.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified mechanic (QQI Level 6 or equivalent)Proven experience working on a range of vehicle makes and models
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full, clean driving licence

Responsibilities:

• Perform servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on all vehicle types
• Identify faults and carry out corrective repairs efficiently
• Complete pre-NCT checks and ensure all work meets quality standards
• Maintain accurate service and repair records
• Liaise with workshop management regarding required parts and workflow
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment
