My client, a well-established and respected hospitality venue, is looking for an experienced Chef De Partie to join their team based in North, Co. Dublin.
Position Overview:
As the Chef de Partie, you will take responsibility for running your own section within a professional, quality-driven kitchen, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to a consistently high standard. You will play an important role in supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef while contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen and upholding the standards expected within a premium hospitality environment.
This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary of €28,000 – €35,000 per year (depending on experience), operating on a Monday to Sunday roster, working 5 days over 7. The position provides stability, consistent hours, and the opportunity to work within a structured and supportive kitchen team.
This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2+ years’ Irish experience as a Chef de Partie (essential)
• Solid knowledge of rustic, classic Irish cuisine
• Ability to work a rotating 5 days over 7 schedule, including weekends
• Strong understanding of food quality, consistency, and presentation
• Excellent knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
• Full right to work in Ireland
Responsibilities:
• Running and managing your own section efficiently
• Preparing and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard
• Supporting junior kitchen staff where required
• Ensuring all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards are followed
• Assisting with stock control, prep, and service
• Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to maintain kitchen standards
