My client, a well-established and reputable hotel, is seeking a passionate Chef de Partie to join their team based in Co. Kildare.

Position Overview:

As the Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, taking ownership of your section and supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering consistent, high-quality food standards. This is a hands-on role suited to a confident and organised chef who enjoys working in a structured, professional hotel kitchen.

This is a full-time position, working a 5-over-7 roster, Monday to Sunday (core schedule), offering a competitive salary of €36,000–€40,000 per year, depending on experience. The role is ideal for a Chef de Partie or a strong Demi Chef de Partie ready to step up who is looking for stability, development, and progression within a reputable hotel kitchen.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Min 2+ years’ experienceas a Chef de Partie or strong Demi CDP ready to step up
• Experience working in a professional hotel or high-volume kitchen
• Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Team-focused attitude with strong communication skills
• Flexibility to work a 5-over-7 roster
• Full right to work in Ireland
• Strong level of English, Written & Verbal

Responsibilities:

• Managing and running your designated section during service
• Preparing and presenting dishes to a high standard
• Supporting junior chefs and commis staff
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
• Assisting with stock control and minimising waste
• Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
• Adhering to all HACCP and health & safety procedures
