My client, a well-established and growing renewables and mechanical services provider, is seeking an experienced RGI Plumber to join their team based in Co. Dublin.
Position Overview:
As an RGI Plumber, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality gas and heating services across a range of residential and commercial projects. You will be responsible for installations, servicing, and maintenance work, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and fully compliant with RGI regulations and company procedures. This role suits an experienced plumber who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys working both independently and as part of a professional technical team.
This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, offering a strong work–life balance. The role comes with a competitive salary of €55,000 to €65,000 per year (DOE), along with a comprehensive benefits package including a company van, fuel card, phone, and pension scheme
This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.
Requirements:
• RGI qualification (essential)
• Minimum 4+ years’ plumbing experience, ideally within retrofit, energy-efficiency, or domestic housing projects
• Strong knowledge of gas safety, compliance, and testing standards
• Experience working in occupied homes and customer-facing environments
• Ability to work collaboratively with multi-trade teams on live retrofit projects
• Full, clean driving licence
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a professional approach to work
Responsibilities:
• Carrying out gas and heating system installations, upgrades, and alterations as part of external wall insulation and retrofit projects
• Supporting Warmer Homes Scheme works, including pre- and post-upgrade heating adjustments
• Ensuring all gas works are completed in full compliance with RGI regulations, SEAI guidelines, and company procedures
• Coordinating with insulation, retrofit, and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Conducting fault finding, testing, and commissioning of heating systems following retrofit works
• Completing all job documentation accurately, including compliance and scheme-related paperwork
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer care in occupied homes
• Adhering to health & safety requirements across all residential and retrofit sites
