My client, a well established hotel, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Business Development Manager to join their team based in North Co. Dublin.

Position Overview:

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving new business, strengthening client relationships, and growing revenue streams across corporate, leisure, and events markets. This role is suited to an experienced commercial professional with a strong background in hospitality sales and relationship management.

This is a Monday to Friday role with core hours of 8am–5pm, offering excellent work-life balance. The position offers a salary from €55,000 per year, along with a performance-based bonus of up to €5,000 annually.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Min 4+ years’ Irish experience in business development or sales in the hospitality sector.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding commercial targets
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
• Commercially minded, proactive, and relationship-focused
• Full clean driver’s licence and own transport
• Ability to work independently and as part of a senior management team
• Full right to work in Ireland
• Strong level of English, written & verbal

Responsibilities:

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across corporate, leisure, and events
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, agencies, and partners
• Drive revenue growth across accommodation, meetings, and events
• Carry out market analysis and competitor research to support sales strategy
• Attend networking events, trade shows, and client meetings
• Collaborate closely with senior management to achieve commercial targets
• Prepare sales reports, proposals, and forecasts
