My client, a well-established civil engineering and utilities contractor, is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their team based in Dublin West.

Position Overview:

As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of transport and large-scale infrastructure projects. Working closely with the Site Manager and project team, you will oversee technical aspects of the works, ensure compliance with drawings and specifications, and support the successful day-to-day running of the site.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering €55,000+ per year depending on experience. The role operates on a structured Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00am to 5:00pm and provides long-term career stability within a growing infrastructure contractor.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Min 2+ years Irish experience as a Site Engineer on transport or large-scale infrastructure projects
• Utilities background essential
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to interpret drawings
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Solid understanding of health & safety compliance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
• Full right to work in Ireland

Responsibilities:

• Oversee setting out and technical supervision of works
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Assist with coordination of subcontractors and site teams
• Monitor progress against programme timelines
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Liaise with project managers, consultants, and stakeholders
