My client, a well-established hotel, is currently seeking a friendly and dependable Night Porter to join their team based in Co. Kildare.

Position Overview:

As the Night Porter, you will support the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the hotel during overnight hours, assisting guests, maintaining security, and ensuring public areas are kept to a high standard. This is a hands-on role suited to a reliable and customer-focused individual who is comfortable working independently during night shifts.

This is a full-time position, working a 5-over-7 roster, Monday to Sunday (core schedule), offering a rate of €14.85 per hour. The role is ideal for someone with previous hotel or hospitality experience who takes pride in providing excellent overnight guest service.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Min 1 years Irish experience in a hotel or hospitality environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, responsible, and comfortable working night shifts
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Flexibility to work a 5-over-7 roster
• Full right to work in Ireland
• Strong level of English, Written & Verbal

Responsibilities:

• Providing assistance to guests during overnight hours
• Monitoring hotel security and ensuring guest safety
• Setting up rooms and public areas as required
• Assisting with cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Supporting reception and night staff when needed
• Handling guest requests and queries professionally
• Ensuring public areas are clean, tidy, and presentable
• Following all health & safety procedures
