Position Overview:

I am currently assisting my client, a well established civil engineering and utilities contractor delivering major road, transport and infrastructure projects, in the recruitment of a Senior Site Agent / Manager to join their team.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of the BusConnects project in Dublin. This role requires strong experience in road construction, urban works, civils and live site delivery.

Candidates must be willing to travel to site 5 days per week. A valid Safe Pass and full clean driving licence are required.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day to day site operations on road, urban works and civils infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, plant, materials, traffic management and daily activities.
• Support programme delivery, quality, health and safety, reporting and documentation.
• Monitor progress, resolve site issues and escalate risks where required.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, clients, consultants, subcontractors and local stakeholders.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to required standards.
• Maintain site records, diaries, reports and compliance documentation.
• Support delivery in live urban environments with public interface and traffic management considerations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Senior Site Agent, Site Manager, General Foreman, Senior Engineer or similar.
• Experience working on road construction, urban works and civils projects is essential.
• Irish construction experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of live site operations, traffic management, public realm or transport infrastructure.
• Strong leadership, communication, organisation and problem solving skills.
• Confident managing crews, subcontractors, suppliers and daily site operations.
• Full clean driving licence is essential.
• Valid Safe Pass is essential.
