My client, a well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, is now seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their Limerick office.

Position Overview:

As the Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of civil infrastructure for a wide variety of residential, commercial, healthcare and industrial developments across Ireland and overseas. You will prepare planning, tender and construction documentation while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered to the highest technical and quality standards in accordance with the company's ISO 9001 procedures.

This is a full-time permanent position based in the client's Limerick office, with a flexible remote working policy and flexible working hours that promote an excellent work-life balance while supporting collaboration across engineering disciplines. The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary from €65,000 depending on experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package, ongoing professional development and excellent long-term career progression opportunities.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Member of Engineers Ireland (or equivalent professional body).
• Min 5+ years' experience in Civil Engineering design and construction.
• Strong experience designing civil infrastructure for residential, commercial, healthcare and industrial developments.
• Experience preparing planning, tender and construction documentation.
• Strong knowledge of Irish design standards, regulations and engineering best practice.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Full working rights in Ireland.

Responsibilities:

• Design civil infrastructure for a diverse range of residential, commercial, healthcare and industrial projects.
• Prepare planning, tender and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Undertake engineering calculations, reports and technical specifications.
• Attend client meetings, design reviews and site visits as required.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with ISO 9001 quality procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers where required.
• Deliver projects safely, efficiently and to the highest professional standards.
