Position Overview:

I am currently assisting my client, a leading engineering consultancy, in the recruitment of a Senior Civil Engineer to join their Limerick office.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

The successful candidate will design civil infrastructure for a wide range of residential, commercial, healthcare and industrial projects in Ireland and overseas. This is a consultancy design role and would suit someone with strong civil infrastructure design experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design civil infrastructure for residential, commercial, healthcare and industrial projects.
• Prepare planning, tender and construction documentation.
• Work closely with internal design teams and external project stakeholders.
• Prepare high quality drawings, reports and technical documents.
• Support project delivery from design stage through to construction documentation.
• Ensure work is completed in line with ISO 9001 procedures.
• Assist with technical coordination and problem solving across projects.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Member of Engineers Ireland.
• Minimum 5 years’ civil engineering experience, including design and construction.
• Strong civil infrastructure design experience.
• Experience with residential, commercial, healthcare or industrial projects is desirable.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is desirable.
• Windes / MicroDrainage experience is desirable.
• Overseas project experience would be beneficial.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem solving skills.
