I am currently assisting my client, a well-established civil engineering and utilities contractor, in the recruitment of a Health & Safety Advisor to join their team.
This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will support health and safety across civil engineering and utilities projects, working from the company’s Blanchardstown office with regular travel to sites as required.
This role would suit a Health & Safety Advisor with at least 1 year of relevant construction, civil engineering, utilities or site-based safety experience.
Responsibilities:
• Carry out site inspections, audits and safety observations.
• Support site teams with health and safety compliance.
• Review RAMS, permits, toolbox talks and site safety documentation.
• Assist with incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
• Support inductions, training, briefings and site safety communications.
• Liaise with site managers, supervisors, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Help maintain safety records, reports and compliance documentation.
• Promote a positive safety culture across all sites.
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of relevant health and safety experience.
• Construction, civils, utilities or site-based experience preferred.
• Relevant Health & Safety qualification.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work between office and site locations.
• Full clean driving licence required.
• Safe Pass beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
