Position Overview:
I am currently assisting my client, a well established civil engineering and utilities contractor delivering major water infrastructure projects, in the recruitment of Site Agents to join their team.
These are permanent roles, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, these are not agency or short term roles. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.
The successful candidates will support the delivery of water infrastructure works across Dublin and surrounding counties, including Growth and Development, Metering, Rehab, Connections, Developer Services, Reinstatement and Leakage projects.
Candidates must be willing to travel to site 5 days per week. A valid Safe Pass and full clean driving licence are required.
Responsibilities:
• Manage day to day site operations across water infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate site crews, subcontractors, plant, materials and daily work activities.
• Support programme delivery, quality, safety, reporting and project documentation.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, clients, consultants and local stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, raise issues and help resolve site challenges quickly.
• Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to required standards.
• Maintain site records, diaries, reports and compliance documentation.
• Support works across connections, metering, reinstatement, leakage, rehab and developer services.
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Site Agent, General Foreman, Senior Engineer, Site Manager or similar.
• Strong experience in civils, utilities, water, drainage, reinstatement or infrastructure works.
• Irish site experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of site coordination, health and safety, quality and documentation.
• Confident managing crews, subcontractors and daily site operations.
• Good communication, organisation and problem solving skills.
• Full clean driving licence is essential.
• Valid Safe Pass is essential.
