I am currently assisting my client, a well-established property restoration, construction and maintenance company, in the recruitment of a Qualified Carpenter to join their team.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate must be based in Dublin and willing to travel to different project locations across the Leinster region.

This role will involve carrying out a wide range of carpentry, maintenance, repair and restoration works across residential, commercial and industrial properties. The position would suit a fully qualified carpenter who is comfortable working independently, managing their own workload and completing works to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out first and second-fix carpentry works.
• Complete general maintenance, repair and restoration works as required.
• Work across residential, commercial and industrial properties.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications and site instructions where required.
• Travel from Dublin to project locations across Leinster.
• Liaise with site managers, project managers, other trades and clients where required.
• Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Maintain a clean, safe and professional working environment.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified carpenter with recognised trade certification.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ post-qualification experience.
• Must be based in Dublin.
• Willing to travel to sites across Leinster.
• Strong first and second-fix carpentry skills.
• Experience in maintenance, restoration, fit-out, repair or general construction works would be beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
• Own tools required.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling.
• Reliable, professional and safety conscious.

Benefits:

• Base salary of €55,000
• €59,000 gross per annum, depending on experience.
