My client, a leading provider of catering and facilities services, is currently seeking an experienced Chef Manager to join a busy and well-established catering operation in Dublin.
Position Overview:
As a Chef Manager, you will oversee the daily operation of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food preparation, service delivery, and kitchen management. You will lead and support the catering team while ensuring that all food safety, hygiene, and operational procedures are followed to the highest standard. This role requires someone who is organised, proactive, and confident managing both kitchen operations and staff.
This is a Monday to Friday position, offering a strong work-life balance with daytime hours. The role offers a competitive salary depending on experience and the opportunity to work in a structured and supportive catering environment.
This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.
Requirements:
• Min 3+ years’ Irish Head Chef/Chef Manager experience in a professional kitchen environment
• Previous supervisory or kitchen management experience
• Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage staff effectively
• Full right to work in Ireland
• Strong level of English including Written & Verbal
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operation of the kitchen and catering service
• Lead, train, and support the catering team
• Ensure food is prepared and presented to a high standard
• Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP regulations
• Manage stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation
• Monitor food quality, service standards, and kitchen efficiency
• Ensure a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen environment
