My client, a well-established facilities and hospitality services provider, seeking an experienced General Manager to join their team and oversee daily site operations.
Position Overview:
As the General Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy multi-service site, ensuring the smooth delivery of cleaning, catering, and front-of-house services while maintaining high standards across all areas.
You will lead and support on-site teams, manage operational performance, coordinate staffing and schedules, and ensure all services are delivered efficiently and in line with company and health & safety standards. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage people, maintain service quality, and ensure a well-run, professional environment.
This is a Monday to Friday role (8:30AM – 5:00PM) offering a salary of €50,000 per year, providing an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospitality or facilities professional to step into a senior operational leadership position.
This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.
Requirements:
• Min 2+ years Irish experience as a General Manager, Site Manager, or Operations Manager experience within hospitality or facilities management
• Strong background in cleaning, catering, and front-of-house operations
• Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate multi-service environments
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Experience managing operational performance and service standards
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations across cleaning, catering, and front-of-house services
• Lead, support, and manage site teams to ensure efficient service delivery
• Monitor operational performance and maintain high service standards
• Coordinate staffing levels, schedules, and team productivity
• Ensure compliance with health & safety policies and operational procedures
• Manage client relationships and address operational queries or service requirements
• Support training and development of team members
• Monitor budgets, stock control, and operational costs
• Ensure smooth communication between departments and senior management
