My client, a fast-growing food manufacturing business, is currently seeking a Production Line Operative to join their team based in Co. Kerry on an ongoing basis.

Position Overview:

As a Production Line Operative, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day production and packing operations within a busy food manufacturing environment. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will be responsible for assisting with production activities, operating equipment, packing and labelling products, and ensuring that quality, hygiene, and food safety standards are maintained at all times.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in production, warehousing, packing, manufacturing, or general operative roles who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in producing high-quality products while working towards daily production targets. Previous food manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.

This is a full-time temporary position offering €15.00 per hour. Successful candidates will be required to work either an early shift of 6:00/6:30am to 3:00/4:00pm or a later shift of 9:00am to 5:00/6:00pm, with flexibility across both schedules highly desirable.

The initial contract duration will be 4 weeks, with the potential for a further 4-week extension and/or a permanent opportunity for the right candidates.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months' experience within a production, warehouse, packing, manufacturing, food production, or general operative environment preferred
• Candidates from other hands-on, fast-paced environments will also be considered
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Ability to carry out physical duties and manual handling tasks
• Strong level of English, Written & verbal
• Full right to work in Ireland
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets
• Flexibility to work either early or later shifts as required

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to daily production schedules and targets
• Prepare ingredients and materials for production
• Assist with the production, packing, and labelling of finished products
• Operate production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
• Maintain accurate production and traceability records where required
• Support food safety, quality, and hygiene procedures
• Carry out daily cleaning duties within production and warehouse areas
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards
• Assist the wider production team with general operational duties as required
