My client, a growing Managed Service Provider specialising in Microsoft technologies, is now seeking a Level 2 IT Support Engineer to join their team in Dublin 22.

Position Overview:

As a Level 2 IT Support Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting a range of client environments, providing technical support, troubleshooting escalated issues and ensuring a high standard of service delivery. You will work closely with both clients and internal teams, supporting Microsoft 365 environments, Windows Server infrastructure, Azure AD and Intune while helping to maintain strong client relationships.

This role would suit an experienced IT Support Engineer, Service Desk Engineer, MSP Engineer or Senior IT Technician looking to take the next step in their career within a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.

This is a fully onsite, client-facing role based in Dublin 22 offering a salary of €50,000 to €60,000 per annum depending on experience. The position is full-time and permanent, with onsite parking available for the successful candidate.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in an IT Support Engineer, Service Desk Engineer, MSP Engineer, Level 2 Support Engineer or similar position
• Previous experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive
• Experience supporting Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
• Experience with Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Intune
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPNs
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Full right to work in Ireland

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for escalated client issues
• Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft 365 related issues
• Support Windows Server environments and associated infrastructure
• Assist with Azure AD, Intune and endpoint management administration
• Support user onboarding and offboarding activities
• Monitor and maintain client systems
• Accurately document work completed within the ticketing system
• Assist with project deployments and migrations
• Work closely with Level 1 Support Engineers and provide technical guidance where required
• Escalate complex technical issues when necessary
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Contribute to the delivery of a high-quality support service
