I am currently assisting my client, a well-established civil engineering and utilities contractor, in the recruitment of a Site Agent to join their Water Division.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will work on water infrastructure and leakage projects across Leinster, including Dublin, Meath, Louth and Wicklow.

This is a site-based role and candidates must be willing to travel to project sites 5 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day delivery of leakage and water infrastructure works.
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, plant, materials and site resources.
• Oversee works in live road, public realm and utility environments.
• Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to required quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities, supervisors, engineers and internal teams.
• Manage site documentation, permits, RAMS, progress reports and records.
• Monitor programme, productivity, quality and health and safety standards.
• Support reinstatement, testing, commissioning and handover requirements where required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Site Agent, General Foreman, Site Manager or Senior Supervisor.
• Strong civil engineering, utilities, water or leakage works experience.
• Experience working on live water networks would be highly beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of site safety, traffic management and public interface works.
• Ability to manage crews and subcontractors across multiple work fronts.
• Full clean driving licence required.
• Safe Pass required.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
