Job Details
I am currently assisting my client, a well-established civil engineering and utilities contractor, in the recruitment of a Project Manager to join their roads and urban civils division.
This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will manage road, urban civils and public realm works in Dublin, with a strong focus on safe delivery, programme control, subcontractor management and coordination with clients and stakeholders.
This is a site-based role and candidates must be willing to travel to project sites 5 days per week.
Responsibilities:
• Manage delivery of road, urban civils and infrastructure projects.
• Lead site teams, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage programme, resources, materials, quality and cost control.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities, design teams and internal management.
• Oversee works in live urban environments with strong public interface.
• Ensure all works are delivered safely and in line with required standards.
• Manage project documentation, reporting, site records and progress updates.
• Drive projects through to completion while maintaining quality and programme control.
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Project Manager, Construction Manager or Senior Site Agent.
• Strong experience delivering road projects, urban civils, public realm or infrastructure works.
• Experience working in live traffic / urban environments would be highly beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of programme, subcontractor, quality and safety management.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work fronts.
• Full clean driving licence required.
• Safe Pass required.
• Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.
