I am currently assisting my client, a well-established civil engineering and utilities contractor, in the recruitment of a Site Agent to join their Water Division.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will manage reinstatement works across water and utilities projects in Leinster, with works covering Wicklow, Dublin, Meath and Louth.

This is a site-based role and candidates must be willing to travel to project sites 5 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee reinstatement works on civil engineering and utilities projects.
• Manage crews, subcontractors, plant, materials and daily site activity.
• Ensure reinstatement works are completed to required specification and quality standards.
• Coordinate works in live road, public realm and residential/commercial environments.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities, supervisors, engineers and internal teams.
• Manage permits, RAMS, site records, daily reporting and progress updates.
• Monitor health and safety, traffic management and site compliance.
• Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and within programme.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Site Agent, Site Manager, General Foreman or Senior Supervisor.
• Strong experience in civils, utilities, reinstatement, roads or public realm works.
• Experience working around live services and road openings would be highly beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of quality, safety and programme control.
• Ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors.
• Full clean driving licence required.
• Safe Pass required.
• Strong communication and organisation skills.
