My Client, one of Ireland’s leading specialists in renewable energy and heating solutions, are currently seeking a number of experienced Plumbing & Heating Engineers to join their growing team on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will have strong experience in domestic and commercial plumbing and heating systems, along with the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.

My Client is based in Co Clare, with most projects located in Co Clare and surrounding counties (Galway / Limerick, Tipperary etc), potential candidates can be located in any of these locations or nearby as there will be a company van as part of the package and my client allows workers to go straight to jobs from their homes. The basic salary for this position has been set at between €55,000-€60,000 per year, the position is Monday to Friday but some flexibility may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Installation, maintenance and repair of general plumbing systems
• Installation and servicing of: Hot and cold water systems / Heating systems / Vented and unvented cylinders / Underfloor heating systems
• Installation, servicing and fault finding on air-to-water heat pump systems
• Diagnostics and troubleshooting across a range of plumbing and heating systems
• Working with renewable heating technologies, including solar/thermal systems where applicable
• Completing job reports, commissioning documentation and updates through company software/apps
• Maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship and site cleanliness
• Working both independently and as part of a wider installation team

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in plumbing and heating
• Experience working with heat pump systems (air-to-water preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Full, clean driving licence
• Own tools
• Professional communication skills and good client interaction
• Comfortable using mobile apps/software for job management and reporting
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment

Desirable Experience:
• Experience across both domestic and commercial plumbing/heating projects
• Exposure to renewable heating technologies
• Experience with solar or thermal panel systems
• Relevant SEAI courses or certifications
