Site / Project Manager – Dublin 4 (Civils Project)

My Client, one of Irelands leading civil engineering contractors are currently recruiting for a Site / Project Manager to join their growing team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site / Project Manager to take ownership of a live civils project in Dublin 4, with an additional nearby site requiring occasional oversight. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering works safely, on time, and to the highest standard, while also securing long-term progression with a growing contractor.

The Role

You will be primarily based on a flagship civils project in Dublin 4, while also overseeing a second site located within a short distance. This is a hands-on role requiring strong site leadership, programme management, and coordination of subcontractors and site teams. The current project is expected to run for a minimum of 6 months, with a strong pipeline of future work ensuring long-term continuity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of site operations
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers
• Ensure all works are delivered in line with programme, budget, and quality standards
• Maintain a strong focus on Health & Safety across all site activities
• Monitor progress and provide regular updates and reports to senior management
• Liaise with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
• Oversee a secondary nearby project, ensuring standards and progress are maintained
• Resolve on-site issues efficiently to avoid delays or disruptions
• Ensure all works comply with relevant regulations and specifications

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or Project Manager within civil engineering projects
• Strong civils background (essential)
• Engineering qualification (preferred but not essential)
• Experience managing multiple workstreams or sites
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
• Ability to deliver projects within tight timelines and budgets
• Full driving licence
