Foreman – Munster Region

My Client, one of Irelands leading construction contractors are currently recruiting for a Foreman to join their growing team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Foreman to join a leading main contractor delivering high-quality construction projects across the Munster region. The successful candidate will play a key role in supervising site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

The Role

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, with a particular focus on coordinating site teams and subcontractors. You will ensure that all works are completed in line with programme, quality, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily site activities and coordinate subcontractors and site teams
• Work closely with Health & Safety teams to maintain a safe and compliant working environment
• Monitor project progress and ensure works are delivered in line with programme
• Plan, coordinate, and report on subcontractor performance
• Provide clear direction and leadership to site personnel
• Ensure all works meet required quality standards and specifications
• Communicate effectively with the Site Manager and wider project team
• Promote teamwork and maintain a positive site culture

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Foreman on construction projects
• Strong background in site supervision and coordination of subcontractors
• Experience managing teams and high volumes of site personnel
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver within programme constraints
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
