Concrete Foreman – Munster (RC Frame Projects)

My Client, one of Irelands leading construction contractors are currently recruiting for a Concrete Foreman to join their growing team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Concrete Foreman to join a leading main contractor delivering large-scale reinforced concrete frame projects across the Munster region. The role will involve working on complex multi-storey builds, where quality, safety, and programme delivery are critical.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take responsibility for overseeing all concrete works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in managing site teams and coordinating RC frame activities on busy, fast-paced projects.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day site operations with a focus on reinforced concrete frame works (foundations, columns, slabs, cores, and vertical elements)
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and direct labour to meet programme and quality targets
• Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety regulations and promote a strong safety culture on site
• Monitor progress, productivity, and sequencing of works, reporting regularly to the Project Manager
• Liaise with engineers, design teams, and client representatives to resolve technical issues
• Ensure all works are completed in line with specifications and quality standards
• Maintain accurate site records, including permits, inspections, and daily reports

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Concrete Foreman on large-scale construction projects
• Strong background in reinforced concrete frame structures (multi-storey experience essential)
• Experience managing large site teams and subcontractors
• Ability to deliver projects within tight deadlines and programme constraints
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively as part of a wider project team
