My client, an established company with multiple sites in Dublin, is currently seeking an experienced General Operative for an ongoing temporary assignment supporting their onsite operations in Dublin 22.

Position Overview:

As General Operative, you will support the day-to-day upkeep and operation of the site, with a strong focus on cleaning, waste management, internal deliveries and general operational support.

This is a hands-on temporary role, where you will work alongside the onsite teams while also completing tasks independently, maintaining site standards and recording work as required. Travel between Dublin sites will be required at times, so a full clean driving licence and own car are essential.

This is an ongoing temporary position, working Monday to Friday, offering €21.37 per hour, starting Tuesday 27th October.

You will be employed by Total Solutions on a temporary agency basis and assigned to our client’s sites. This is an ongoing temporary assignment, rather than a permanent position with the client.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a general operative, facilities, cleaning or similar role
• Availability to start on 27th October and commit to an ongoing temporary assignment
• Full clean driving licence and own car are essential for travel between sites
• Valid Manual Handling Certificate
• Good spoken and written English to understand instructions, communicate with onsite teams and complete reports
• Basic IT skills and the ability to complete electronic documentation
• Basic site and construction safety awareness
• Ability to follow instructions and support operational teams
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks without continuous supervision
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining site standards
• Safe Pass would be an advantage
• Full right to work in Ireland

Responsibilities:

Throughout your temporary assignment, your duties will include:
• Maintaining cleanliness across internal and external building areas, including loading bays
• Managing waste segregation and maintaining waste areas in accordance with site procedures and ISO standards
• Keeping loading bays and access routes clean, organised and free from obstructions
• Distributing post, packages and deliveries throughout the building
• Providing escort support for vendors and customers in line with site access procedures
• Assisting onsite operations teams with operational and installation tasks as instructed
• Travelling between Dublin sites to provide support when required
• Completing reports and documentation to support audits and site records
• Reporting hazards, maintenance issues and other concerns to the relevant onsite team
• Following all health and safety requirements and site procedures
