My client, an established transport and logistics company, is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join their night-shift team in Dublin 24.

Position Overview:

As Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, moving goods safely and supporting the efficient running of a busy warehouse operation.

This is a hands-on position requiring strong experience operating forklifts and powered pallet trucks (PPT), particularly when loading and unloading vehicles.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 8PM to 4AM, offering €16.51 per hour, with an additional 10% hourly bonus for hours worked between 10PM and 7AM.

This role will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis. This is not an agency or short-term role. I am assisting my client in finding a suitable candidate to join their team directly.

Requirements:

• Valid Reach and/or Counterbalance forklift licence
• Valid Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) licence
• Strong previous experience loading and unloading trucks
• Confident and experienced in using PPT equipment to move and load goods
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail when checking goods and delivery documentation
• Ability to work efficiently within a busy warehouse environment
• Reliable, punctual and comfortable working night shifts
• Own transport required due to the site location and shift times
• Full right to work in Ireland

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts and PPT equipment
• Move and position goods within the warehouse and loading areas
• Check incoming and outgoing goods against relevant documentation
• Identify and report damaged goods, shortages or discrepancies
• Ensure goods are handled and positioned securely to minimise damage
• Complete equipment checks before use and report faults promptly
• Work closely with the warehouse and transport teams to meet dispatch deadlines
• Maintain clear loading areas and a clean, organised workspace
• Follow all site procedures and health and safety requirements
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required
