My client, a well-established hotel in Co. Tipperary, is now seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead the department.

Position Overview:

As Food & Beverage Manager, you will oversee the hotel’s daily food and beverage operations, ensuring high standards of service, strong team performance and an excellent guest experience. You will manage staffing, training, rostering, stock control and departmental costs while working closely with the kitchen and senior management teams.

The client will consider experienced Food & Beverage Managers as well as strong Assistant Food & Beverage Managers who are ready to step up.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of €40,000–€50,000 per year, depending on experience. Own transport is essential, and accommodation is not available.

This role will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis. This is not an agency or short-term role. I am assisting my client in finding a suitable candidate to join their team directly.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Food & Beverage Manager within a hotel or busy hospitality environment
• Strong Assistant Food & Beverage Managers who are ready to progress will also be considered
• Proven experience leading, training and motivating a food and beverage team
• Strong knowledge of daily service operations, functions and events
• Experience with rostering, stock control, budgeting and cost management
• Excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain organised and lead effectively within a busy operation
• Flexible availability across weekdays, evenings and weekends
• Full right to work in Ireland
• Own transport is essential due to the hotel’s location

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the hotel’s food and beverage department
• Lead, support and motivate the team to deliver a consistently high standard of service
• Prepare staff rosters and ensure appropriate coverage across all service areas
• Recruit, train and develop team members
• Work closely with the kitchen and events teams to ensure smooth daily service and functions
• Monitor stock levels, ordering, wage costs and departmental expenditure
• Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and guest service
• Handle guest queries and resolve any issues professionally
• Ensure compliance with food safety, licensing and health and safety requirements
• Support senior management in improving departmental performance and profitability
