My client, an established commercial shopfitting company, is currently looking to add experienced Qualified Cabinet Maker to their team based in Tallaght, Dublin 24.

Position Overview:

As the Qualified Cabinet Maker, you will work as part of an experienced production team, manufacturing high-quality bespoke furniture and display units from production drawings and job specifications.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Tallaght, Dublin 24, working 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM and Friday 8:30 AM–4:00 PM, with a pay rate of €23.00 per hour for a fully qualified Cabinet Maker, plus enhanced overtime rates.

The role is primarily workshop-based, although on rare occasions you may be required to assist with the installation of a unit you have worked on. A company van will be provided for any required travel, with accommodation and food covered where applicable.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis. This is not an agency or short-term role. I am assisting my client in finding a suitable candidate to join their team directly.

Requirements:

• Qualified Cabinet Maker with proven experience in a similar role
• Strong experience reading and working independently from production drawings and job specifications
• Ability to independently manufacture individual and bespoke furniture pieces
• Competent operating a panel saw
• Competent operating an edge bander
• Experience using woodworking machinery and hand-held power tools
• Fluent English
• Experience manufacturing bespoke display furniture or working within shopfitting is an advantage
• Full driving licence is advantageous
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling are advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Manufacture high-quality bespoke furniture and display units
• Read and accurately interpret production drawings and job specifications
• Complete individual furniture pieces independently from start to finish
• Operate panel saws, edge banders and other woodworking machinery safely and effectively
• Use hand and power tools to complete detailed joinery work
• Work alongside the wider production team to complete projects to agreed deadlines
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
• Occasionally assist with the installation of completed units on client sites when required
