My client, a well-established and highly regarded hotel, is currently seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager (Operations) to join their team based in Co. Tipperary.
Position Overview:
As the Food & Beverage Manager (Operations), you will take full ownership of the day-to-day food and beverage operation, with particular responsibility for the bar and restaurant offering. You will lead from the front on the floor, ensuring consistently high service standards while creating a welcoming and professional guest experience.
You will work closely with other Heads of Department to drive performance, attract and retain business, and support the overall operation of the hotel. A key part of the role will be developing and training F&B teams, embedding strong service standards, and maintaining a culture of quality, accountability, and guest focus across the department.
This is a senior, hands-on role operating on a 5 over 7 roster (Monday to Sunday), offering a salary of €45,000 per year depending on experience.
This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.
Requirements:
• Min 3+ years Irish experience in a Senior Duty Manager, Food & Beverage Manager, or Operations Manager role (essential)
• Strong background in bar and restaurant operations
• Demonstrated experience training, motivating, and developing hospitality teams
• High standards of service and attention to detail
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments
• Flexibility to work a 5 over 7 roster (Mon–Sun)
• Full right to work in Ireland
• Strong level of English, written & verbal
Responsibilities:
• Overseeing day-to-day hotel operations with a strong focus on Food & Beverage performance
• Managing bar and restaurant operations, ensuring high service standards at all times
• Leading, training, and developing F&B teams to deliver consistent, high-quality service
• Maintaining and improving service standards, procedures, and guest experience
• Working closely with other Heads of Department to drive occupancy, repeat business, and revenue
• Supporting rostering, labour control, and operational cost management
• Handling guest feedback professionally and proactively
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety, food safety, and company procedures
• Acting as Duty Manager across the hotel as required
