Steel Cladder / Steel Erector

My client, an established steel construction company specialising in agricultural and industrial buildings, is seeking experienced Steel Cladders and Steel Erectors for projects mainly across Meath, Westmeath and Louth. An immediate start is available.

This is a permanent role with the client. This is not an agency or short-term role; the successful candidate will be employed by and work for them directly.

Applicants must have at least two years’ experience in either steel cladding or steel erection. Experience in both would be an advantage, but candidates with a strong background in either area will be considered.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with paid overtime sometimes available. A competitive rate of pay will be negotiated based on experience.

You must be able to make your own way directly to the different sites each day, as the working day starts on site rather than at the company’s office or yard. Own transport is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out steel erection and/or cladding work, depending on your experience.
• Working on agricultural and industrial building projects.
• Following drawings and site instructions to complete work accurately.
• Working safely at height and following site safety procedures.
• Working with the team to complete projects to a high standard.

Requirements:

• A minimum of two years’ experience in steel cladding or steel erection.
• Experience in both areas would be an advantage.
• Ability to travel independently to sites across Meath, Westmeath and Louth.
• Comfortable working at height and in an outdoor construction environment.
• A reliable, punctual approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Availability for an immediate start would be an advantage.
