I am currently assisting my client, a well established civil engineering and external works contractor, in the recruitment of two Site Supervisors to join their team in Dublin.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis. This is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

The successful candidates will supervise crews, coordinate daily activities and work with site management to maintain safe working practices, quality and progress.

Responsibilities:

• Organise daily work activities and coordinate labour, plant and materials.
• Brief crews on planned works, drawings and safe working arrangements.
• Monitor workmanship and report progress to site management.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors and other site teams.
• Identify material and resource requirements in advance.
• Raise site issues promptly and assist with practical solutions.
• Maintain clear records of daily activities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience supervising crews on civil engineering, groundworks or related construction projects.
• Practical knowledge of construction methods and work sequencing.
• Ability to read drawings and communicate instructions clearly.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Good understanding of site safety and quality requirements.
• Ability to travel reliably to sites across County Dublin.

Benefits:

• Salary of €60,000–€70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
• Permanent PAYE employment directly with the company.
