I am currently assisting my client, a well established civil engineering and external works contractor, in the recruitment of two Site Managers to join their team in Dublin.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis. This is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

The successful candidates will manage daily site operations, coordinate resources and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality. Civil engineering and groundworks experience would be particularly relevant.

Responsibilities:

• Manage site teams, subcontractors, labour and plant.
• Plan daily and weekly activities against the construction programme.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and supervisors.
• Oversee site inductions, briefings, permits and safe working arrangements.
• Monitor workmanship, inspections and quality records.
• Coordinate material deliveries and maintain accurate site records.
• Identify delivery issues and organise practical solutions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing civil engineering, groundworks or similar construction sites.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, drawings and site logistics.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate several work activities.
• Relevant construction qualifications.
• Sound knowledge of site health and safety.
• Good communication, record keeping and organisational skills.
• Ability to travel reliably to sites across County Dublin.

Benefits:

• Salary of €65,000–€80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
• Permanent PAYE employment directly with the company.
