My client, a long-established Irish engineering and industrial supply company, seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their leadership team based in Dublin West.

Position Overview:

As the Operations Manager, you will play a key leadership role within the organisation, overseeing warehouse operations, production activities, inventory management, logistics, and operational systems across two facilities in Clondalkin and Tallaght. You will work closely with senior leadership to ensure operational efficiency, strong team performance, and continuous improvement across both sites.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position offering a salary of up to €70,000 per year (depending on experience) plus a 10% performance bonus, with mileage expenses covered and parking available on site.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Min 5+ years’ Irish experience in an Operations, Warehouse, Production, or Manufacturing Management role
• Experience managing multi-site warehouse or production environments
• Strong people management and leadership skills
• Experience with inventory management and stock control systems
• Strong IT and operational systems capability
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience within engineering, manufacturing, logistics, or industrial supply sectors is highly desirable
• Full driving licence required

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations across warehouse, production, and logistics functions across two sites
• Ensure efficient coordination between the Clondalkin and Tallaght facilities
• Oversee warehouse operations including goods receiving, storage, stock control, and dispatch
• Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy of stock control systems
• Oversee workshop and production activities to ensure schedules meet customer delivery requirements
• Implement operational processes and procedures to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain a strong safety culture
• Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics including deliveries, shipments, and supplier coordination
• Lead, mentor, and develop operational staff across both locations
• Manage staff scheduling, workload planning, and operational reporting
• Liaise with suppliers, freight partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operational flow
• Oversee operational systems and reporting to ensure accurate data and performance tracking
