My client, a well-established and busy four-star hotel, is seeking an enthusiastic and hands-on Duty Manager to join their management team based in County Kerry.
Position Overview:
As Duty Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of a busy four-star hotel, ensuring the highest standards of guest service are maintained across all departments. This is a hands-on management position, ideal for an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor ready to take the next step in their career or an existing Duty Manager looking for a fresh challenge.
Working closely with the senior management team, you will oversee the smooth running of daily operations, support the Food & Beverage team during busy service periods, and help deliver exceptional guest experiences across the hotel's restaurant, bar, conferences, events and weddings.
This is a permanent, full-time position offering a salary of €38,000–€40,000 per annum, depending on experience. As the hotel operates 365 days a year, the successful candidate will work a flexible roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays in line with business requirements.

Requirements:
• Minimum 3+ years' experience in a Food & Beverage Supervisory, Duty Management or similar hospitality management role.
• Strong Food & Beverage background within a hotel environment is essential.
• Previous experience supervising and developing teams in a busy hospitality setting.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• A hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example during busy service periods.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining exceptional guest service standards.
• Good knowledge of health & safety and food safety procedures.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Full right to work in Ireland.
Responsibilities:
• Support the day-to-day operation of the hotel.
• Lead and motivate teams across Food & Beverage and other operational departments.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest queries professionally.
• Ensure high standards of presentation, cleanliness and service throughout the hotel.
• Assist with conferences, events, weddings and busy service periods.
• Support departmental managers to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure company policies, health & safety procedures and hotel standards are maintained at all times.
