My client, a well-established and highly regarded hospitality venue, is currently seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join their team based in Co. Tipperary.

Position Overview:

As the Duty Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the hotel, supporting operations across Food & Beverage, front of house, and guest services to ensure a smooth and efficient service at all times.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone looking to step into or further develop within a management role, where you will lead shifts, support the team, and ensure a consistently high standard of customer service.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a comeptitive salary from €35,000 per year, depending on experience & working on a 5 over 7 schedule including evenings and weekends.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Min 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality
• Experience in a hotel, restaurant, or high-volume environment
• Strong understanding of food and beverage operations
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lead a team and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Positive attitude with a hands-on approach
• Basic knowledge of HACCP and health & safety standards

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations during your shift across all departments
• Support and lead the team to ensure smooth service delivery
• Act as a key point of contact for guests and handle any queries or issues
• Ensure high standards of customer service and presentation at all times
• Assist with F&B operations including restaurant, bar, and events where required
• Support staff training, supervision, and shift coordination
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and HACCP procedures
• Work closely with senior management to ensure overall operational success
