My client, a well-established and highly regarded construction plant hire company, is seeking an experienced Construction Truck Driver to join their team based in Dublin 22.

Position Overview:

As a Construction Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of construction plant machinery to and from various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of plant handling, load securing, and site safety.

This is a Monday to Friday position with no weekend work, offering an excellent work-life balance alongside a salary of €47,000 per year.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Full, clean Category C or CE driving licence
• Up-to-date CPCs (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
• Min of 3+ years’ Irish experience in a similar role
• Proven experience transporting construction plant machinery
• Strong knowledge of load securing and transport safety regulations
• Experience operating plant machinery (desirable)
• Good knowledge of Dublin and surrounding areas
• Strong work ethic and reliability

Responsibilities:

• Transport construction plant machinery to and from sites safely and efficiently
• Load and unload machinery, ensuring all loads are secured correctly
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Ensure compliance with all road safety and transport regulations
• Maintain communication with the operations team regarding deliveries and collections
• Represent the company professionally on-site and when interacting with clients
