We are recruiting on behalf of a leading structural steel fabricator who is seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join their team in Co. Meath. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a stable, long-term role with a reputable company working on structural steel fabrication projects.

The successful candidate will work within a skilled fabrication team assembling and welding structural steel components to high industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and weld structural steel and general steel fabrication components.
• Work from fabrication drawings, sketches, and technical specifications.
• Ensure all welding and fabrication work meets quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
• Work effectively as part of a fabrication team to meet production targets.
• Follow all site health & safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in MIG welding.
• Experience working with structural steel fabrication.
• Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings.
• Experience with Tekla or Strucad is an advantage.
• Manual Handling and Abrasive Wheel certificates required (negotiable).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Good initiative and attention to detail.
