This is a key role within the business, focused on delivering accurate, competitive pricing while supporting the successful delivery of high-value, technically complex projects.

Reporting directly to the Estimating Manager, you will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure best-in-class tender submissions and smooth handover to operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the tender process from initial receipt through to final submission.
• Prepare detailed take-offs and cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and related documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive and accurate pricing.
• Attend pre-tender and post-tender reviews.
• Participate in handover meetings with operations teams following successful tenders.
• Work independently on tenders while also collaborating as part of an integrated estimating team.
• Ensure estimates meet demanding timeframes, quality standards, and commercial objectives.

Requirements:

• Electrical trade qualification or third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3+ years’ post-graduate experience in the construction sector, specifically pricing electrical packages of work.
• Experience working on mission-critical or technically complex projects is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to present findings clearly and professionally.
• High level of computer literacy and familiarity with estimating tools and software.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Benefits:

- Opportunity to work on high-profile mission-critical projects in Ireland and overseas.
• Flexible location options: Waterford, Dublin (Tallaght), or Cork (Little Island).
• Competitive salary and benefits package.
• Supportive, collaborative team environment with strong technical expertise.
• Long-term career development within a growing and respected contractor.
