We are recruiting on behalf of a growing and well-established accountancy firm based in North County Dublin, who are seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Senior Manager / Associate Director to lead their Audit & Accounting function.

This is a key leadership role for a high-performing professional who is ready to take the next step in their career. You will work closely with the Board of Directors, lead a talented team, and manage a strong and diverse client portfolio. The role offers a clear and structured pathway to Directorship, with ongoing involvement in the strategic growth of the firm.

Responsibilities:


• Lead and develop the Audit & Accounting team, supporting performance, progression, and engagement.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors, acting as a trusted senior advisor.
• Oversee the delivery of audits and accounts, ensuring compliance with Irish and UK accounting standards.
• Review and sign off on complex audit and accounting assignments.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for advisory and value-added services.
• Contribute to business strategy, growth initiatives, and firm-wide decision-making.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement across audit and accounting processes.
• Ensure high standards of quality control, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:


ACA / ACCA / CPA qualified (essential).
• Strong background in audit, accounting, and client management within practice.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing complex audit engagements.
• Excellent technical knowledge of Irish and UK accounting standards.
• Commercially aware with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ambitious, proactive, and motivated to progress to Director level.
