We are recruiting on behalf of a client operating within the construction industry who is seeking a Technical Specification Support professional to join their team. This role will provide vital technical support to the sales team, assisting with construction-related calculations, technical documentation, and project specifications.This position is ideal for someone with a strong technical mindset, experience using AutoCAD, and an interest in supporting commercial construction projects from a technical and design perspective.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out thermal insulation calculations
• Design tapered roofing schemes in line with project requirements
• Complete rainwater and wind load calculations.
• Prepare section detail drawings using AutoCAD.
• Support the sales and technical teams with documentation and technical queries.
• Prepare and manage company technical documentation.
• Assist with project specifications, including product build-ups, performance criteria, and installation clauses.Support the sales team with lead generation and identification of new projects and opportunities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience using AutoCAD 2D.
• Experience within the construction industry is highly desirable.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively with sales and technical teams.Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
