My client, a busy and well-established hospitality business, is now seeking an experienced and reliable Cook to join their kitchen team based in Dublin 2.

Position Overview:


As the Cook, you will support the kitchen team with the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes, while ensuring food safety, hygiene, and service standards are maintained throughout each shift.

This is a full-time position based on 36 hours per week, working Monday to Sunday, 5 days over 7. The role is paid at €15.50 per hour and includes meals on duty.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:


• Minimum 1+ year experience working in a busy kitchen environment
• Previous experience as a Cook or similar role is essential
• Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Strong level of English: Writen & Verbal is required

Responsibilities:


• Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipes and company standards
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the correct specifications
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures at all times
• Prevent cross-contamination and adhere to all health and safety regulations
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and running efficiently throughout service
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment including ovens, stovetops, grills, and other cooking appliances
• Communicate effectively with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service
• Assist with stock rotation, storage, and general day-to-day kitchen duties
