My client, a well-established and rapidly growing organisation within the facilities management sector, is currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their team based in Dublin 15



Position Overview:


As the Credit Controller, you will take ownership of the Accounts Receivable function, ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts while maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will play a key role in supporting cash flow, managing billing processes, and contributing to continuous improvement across finance systems and processes.

This role is suited to a detail-driven finance professional who thrives in a busy environment and is keen to grow within a structured and progressive team.

Salary is up to €40,000 per year, alongside a competitive benefits package including health insurance, pension, and additional perks.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:


• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a Finance or Accounts Receivable role
• Level 8 Degree in Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience
• Strong level of written and verbal English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience using accounting software
• Experience with Microsoft ERP systems is advantageous
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and numeracy
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work efficiently under pressure
• Confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Flexible and adaptable within a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Proactive, professional, and solutions-focused approach
• Must have full right to work in Ireland

Responsibilities:


• Manage and maintain the Accounts Receivable ledger
• Issue the Master WIP report and attend review meetings with Account Managers to determine billing schedules
• Collate billing information, update PTA, and submit for invoice processing
• Process and issue customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain and update PTA and all relevant customer and account records
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies by liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Proactively follow up on overdue accounts and manage aged debt
• Post and allocate customer payments on a daily basis
• Set up new customer accounts and maintain accurate master data
• Assist with credit checks for new and existing clients
• Manage and monitor the AR inbox, ensuring all queries are dealt with efficiently
• Prepare and issue month-end statements and support AR reporting requirements
• Produce ad hoc reports as required by the business
• Provide supporting documentation for audits and compliance purposes
• Provide cover across the AR team as required
• Support continuous improvement of systems and processes within the finance function
