My client, a leading provider of integrated catering, retail, and facilities services, is seeking an experienced Deli/Cafe Manager to take full ownership of a high-profile site based in Cork City, Co. Cork.

Position Overview:

As the Deli/Café Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of a busy café operation, leading the team to drive production, maintain quality, and ensure a consistent customer experience. This is a hands-on role where you will be actively involved on the floor, particularly during peak trading periods.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of up to €45,000 per year, operating on a 5 over 7 schedule in line with business needs.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Min 3+years’ experience in a similar role (Deli Manager, Forecourt Manager, or Fast Food Manager)
• Strong background in high-volume food production environments
• Proven experience managing and leading teams
• Hands-on approach with the ability to support during busy service periods
• Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, and operational standards
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the café and deli unit
• Lead and motivate the team to drive production and maintain high standards
• Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and service
• Be hands-on during busy periods, supporting the team where required
• Monitor stock levels, ordering, and waste control
• Maintain full compliance with HACCP and health & safety standards
• Support the ongoing development of the site as it expands into retail
