We are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing engineering consultancy in Cork who are seeking a talented Civil Structural Engineer Design to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of residential, civil, and infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on design, project coordination, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver structural and civil design for a range of projects including residential and infrastructure works.
• Prepare and review design calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
• Work on projects involving roads, sewerage, and large-scale developments.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Irish regulations and standards.
• Support project delivery from concept through to completion.
• Contribute to design reviews and continuous improvement processes.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience in design roles within civil or structural engineering.
• Strong knowledge of roads, drainage, and residential developments.
• Good understanding of Irish regulations and construction standards.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Chartered status desirable but not essential.
