We are recruiting on behalf of a busy and high-performing automotive depot in Waterford seeking an experienced Service Manager to take full responsibility for daily operations. This is a leadership role suited to someone who understands the pace of a depot environment and can drive both performance and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will lead from the front, manage workflow efficiently, and ensure the highest standards of service delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy automotive depot.
• Manage workshop scheduling, bookings, and workflow.
• Lead and motivate service and technical teams to meet performance targets.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Monitor KPIs, productivity, and service quality standards.
• Maintain compliance with health & safety and operational procedures.
• Liaise with senior management to drive operational improvements.

Requirements:

• Previous automotive experience is essential.
• Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within a garage or depot environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and results-driven mindset.
