We are recruiting on behalf of a busy and growing civils contractor delivering major infrastructure projects. They are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Site Manager to take full leadership responsibility across key projects.

This is a high-impact role suited to a confident leader with strong experience in water, utilities, or residential infrastructure projects. You will be central to project delivery, overseeing programmes, managing teams, and ensuring works are completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage civil infrastructure projects from groundworks through to completion.
• Drive programme delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Oversee health & safety, quality control, and compliance standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and senior stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and proactively resolve issues to maintain delivery targets.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship across all stages of construction.
• Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Site Manager within civil engineering.
• Strong background in water, utilities, or residential infrastructure projects.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong knowledge of programme management and site operations.
• Commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets effectively.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full driving licence.
