Our clients are leading building and civil engineering contractors with a proven track record in delivering high-quality construction and infrastructure projects across Ireland. Due to continued growth, they are seeking experienced Site / Setting Out Engineers to join their teams on a range of exciting and large-scale developments.

Position Overview:

As a Site / Setting Out Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and executing site engineering tasks, ensuring projects are delivered accurately, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys taking ownership of technical site responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out setting out and surveying duties using Total Stations and GPS equipment.
• Oversee site operations and quality control, ensuring accurate delivery of construction plans.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, foremen, and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress against programme and report on any deviations.
• Maintain accurate records including daily site diaries, as-built drawings, and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards on-site.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in a Site Engineer or Setting Out Engineer role.
• Strong technical knowledge in RC works, groundworks, and infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in the use of Total Stations, GPS, AutoCAD, and other surveying tools.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with site teams.
• Strong problem-solving and project coordination skills.
