We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Cork-based engineering consultancy seeking Structural Design Engineers to join their growing and dynamic team. You will be involved in the design and delivery of projects across roads, sewerage, and large-scale residential schemes, playing a key role in shaping Cork’s built environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare structural designs for civil and residential infrastructure projects.
• Work on roads, sewerage, and large-scale residential developments.
• Ensure compliance with Irish regulations, planning requirements, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil engineers, architects, and contractors.
• Provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project coordination, reporting, and client communication.
• Assist in resolving design queries during construction phases.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Experience working on Irish infrastructure or residential projects.
• Strong technical design and project leadership capabilities.
• Solid knowledge of the Irish regulatory and planning landscape.
• Chartered status (or working towards Chartered Engineer status) is desirable.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive and detail-oriented with a commitment to quality delivery.
