My client, a leading automotive services provider renowned for its exceptional roadside assistance and unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction, is seeking an experienced Recovery Driver for the Dublin area.

Position Overview:

As the Recovery Driver, you will be the first point of contact for motorists in need, providing timely and professional assistance. Your primary responsibility will be to recover and transport vehicles efficiently and safely, ensuring our customers receive top-notch service during stressful situations. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and exceptional customer service.

You’ll be out and about meeting their customers, away from a traditional garage setting. This is a key role in upholding the company brand, providing great variety and job satisfaction as reflected in our outstanding customer feedback.

You’ll enjoy a structured work schedule with an 8-week roster rotation, typically 5 days on and 3 days off, along with clear expectations on seasonal overtime. The role includes attractive shift premiums: 1.5x rate from Saturday 8pm to Monday 8am, 1.5x rate for overtime from Monday to Saturday, and 2.0x rate on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to roadside assistance requests.
• Safely recover and transport vehicles to designated locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to stranded motorists.
• Conduct minor on-site vehicle repairs when possible.
• Ensure all recovery equipment is maintained and in good working order.
• Maintain accurate records of all recovery operations.

Requirements:

• Valid C Driving Licence.
• Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Proven experience in vehicle recovery or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical knowledge.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours as per the roster rotation.
