My client, well-established and reputable plant hire company, is seeking an experienced Construction Truck Driver to join their dedicated team based in Dublin 22.

Position Overview:

As a Construction Truck Driver, you will play a key role in the safe and timely transport of plant machinery such as diggers, dumpers, and teleporters to and from client sites across the Greater Dublin area. This role is ideal for an experienced and reliable driver with a background in plant or construction logistics, looking for steady work with a respected and growing company.

This is a full-time, hands-on position, operating Monday to Friday 6.30 AM to 3.30 PM, offering a weekly salary of €960. You’ll be responsible for loading and unloading machinery safely, performing routine vehicle checks, and representing the company in a professional manner on every job.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Full, clean driving licence with up-to-date CPCs (essential)
• Must have proven experience transporting construction plant and machinery
• Experience loading and unloading plant equipment safely
• Trailer licence and Safe Pass (advantageous)
• Background in plant hire, construction logistics, or heavy transport (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
• Reliable, punctual, and an effective communicator

Responsibilities:

• Deliver and collect plant machinery to and from client sites
• Load, secure, and unload equipment safely and efficiently
• Carry out routine vehicle checks and report any issues
• Liaise with yard and office teams to ensure smooth logistics
• Represent the company professionally on all jobs
