My client, a well-established provider of technology, infrastructure and support services, is now seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join their team based in Dublin 12.
Position Overview:
As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full day-to-day operations of a busy warehouse environment, ensuring efficient workflow, accurate inventory control and excellent service delivery standards.
This is a permanent full-time position offering a salary of €50,000 – €55,000 per year depending on experience. The successful candidate will take ownership of warehouse operations including goods in/out, stock control, team management, health & safety compliance, supplier coordination and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will play a key role in improving processes, maintaining high operational standards and ensuring agreed service levels are achieved across accuracy, turnaround times and delivery performance.
This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis. This is not an agency or short-term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.
Requirements:
• Min 2+ years’ experience in a Warehouse Management role
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including goods in/out, dispatch and inventory control
• Experience using WMS/ERP systems
• Strong people management and team leadership skills
• Experience managing warehouse processes, KPIs and performance standards
• Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures within a warehouse environment
• Experience with stock control, stocktakes and inventory accuracy
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
• Ability to identify improvements and implement new processes
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
• Previous experience with Lean, 5S or continuous improvement would be advantageous
Responsibilities:
• Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch
• Ensure efficient workflow and maximise warehouse space utilisation
• Maintain agreed service levels including accuracy, turnaround times and delivery performance
• Implement and continuously improve warehouse processes and SOPs
• Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS/ERP systems
• Manage stock rotation, stocktakes and cycle counts
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies or variances
• Control stock losses, damages and shrinkage
• Ensure compliance with company health & safety policies and procedures
• Complete risk assessments and maintain RAMS documentation
• Ensure safe operation of warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet trucks
• Support audits including Health & Safety, ISO and compliance requirements
• Participate in recruitment, training and supervision of warehouse staff
• Allocate daily tasks and manage team performance
• Promote a positive safety and performance-focused culture
• Identify operational improvements and efficiency opportunities
• Liaise with transport providers, suppliers and internal teams
• Manage escalations relating to delays, shortages or damages
• Support continuous improvement initiatives including Lean and 5S practices
